I found an acceptable flavour of mall sushi. This one has sauteed onions, cucumber and avacado with spicy sauce. No more fishy taste you get from the sushi sitting out for a few hours!

I can’t wait any longer to tell you guys.

I picked up a bunch of posters to decorate the playroom for the kids. This is my favourite one. :)

Just need to add gold stitching to the holly leaves and around the berries, then mount it on coloured cardstock, write a message, and ship it out! :D

I picked up a pack of cardstock for my Christmas cards yesterday (since my original pack is only white/beige/brown).

I’m not sure if/how I’ll use the pink… but whatever. Colours! Yay!

My hand-me-down sewing machine from my father (he got it from my grandma? I think?). It only does plain, straight stitches, and weighs a fuckton because the entire thing is made of steel or something… But it’s what I learned on, and I love the antique blue colour.

Either way, these are peanut butter cookies with kisses (or hugs) pressed into them right after they come from the oven. The heat melts the chocolate just enough that when you bite into it, its a liquid, but the outside keeps its shape. Sooo delicious!

Tonight’s progress on card #2

The kids left this little guy to keep me company when they went to bed.

This is what I was working on last night. Obviously quite a bit to go still. The word “Christmas” took half the time that Merry did… I assume partially because I knew what I was doing by then, and I was working in sunlight instead of squinting in the poor lighting of my living room trying to figure out how the letters were shaped.

I’m going to try to make every card different - I have paints, and coloured gel pens and all kinds of embroidery thread. :3
