Flashback Friday - Adrian and I (June 15, 2007). This is when I took Adrian to visit my graphic design teacher at my old high school. He’s just over a year old here.

I think it’s weird that both of our kids have pin-straight hair like Nick, when I had such a head of curls as a baby (just as both of my parents did). Isn’t curly hair supposed to be a dominant trait?

Though, the fact that we have one red head and one blonde child when he has dark brown hair also goes against the odds. Genetics are so unpredictable.

Flashback Friday - Isaac’s Birthday!

Our first photo with all four of us. This was Adrian’s first time meeting his brother, he didn’t really know what to make of him. He was more interested in climbing into bed with mommy.

Flashback Friday - Adrian in the NICU (June, 2006).

I wish I knew when this photo was taken, but he doesn’t seem to have had a PICC line yet, and I don’t see a scar on his back so it must have been before his surgery. Which would mean he was about 3 lbs and under 3 weeks old here.

(Also, see how his hair is dark brown? Both of my kids were born with hair that colour. One went blonde, and the other went red. Weird!)

Flashback Friday - In grade 10 one of my best friends and I were in the school play (and adaption of The Good Doctor) as these two recurring old ladies. I’m the one on the left, and I’m actually a little surprised at just how much I look like my grandmother. It’s kinda scary.
