Thank you! I don’t take offence at all. I’ve been asked this quite a few times, but usually people are pretty rude about it. (You don’t come off as rude at all, by the way!)

We didn’t choose to start so young, we actually planned on both of us going through university together first before we got married and had kids. Maybe travelling, if we could afford it.  But life doesn’t always go as planned, right? :)

I never regretted it for a second, though. I’ve wanted kids my entire life (I remember planning out my kids’ names in kindergarten). By the time Adrian turned one, I knew for certain I wanted him to have a sibling to grow up with. By then Nick was working, and we were saving up money while looking for an apartment, so there was really no reason we could find that would make having a second a bad idea. And thus, we had Isaac.

I was really glad being a young parent kept me from going to university straight out of high school, actually. I would have picked a degree in something useless just because it was something that seemed fun. I probably also would have drank my ass off and gotten into a ton of needless drama.
