I don’t know what’s gotten into Adrian lately,
but he is TRYING NEW FOODS.
Without me coercing him.
Seriously, he had the hugest thing with food for years. Nothing slimy, nothing wet, nothing with juices inside, nothing with whole spices in it (fennel seeds, etc). Feeding him was a nightmare. If I put too much butter onto his toast so that he couldn’t hold it without getting butter on his fingers, he would have a meltdown.
When he got into nutrition, things got a little easier. I would show him the nutrition information, point out the benefits (“brown bread has more fibre!”) and he would try the food. Sometimes.
But the last few nights, he has tried a bite of everything I’ve made. If he doesn’t like it, that’s fine. At least he is trying.
And now he likes carrots. This is huge.
